Break the rear loose, hold the slide, charge your turbo and fire it on the straight. Slideways is an arcade drift racer in a bright low-poly world: ten tracks from sunny coasts to lava caves, five rivals on the grid, and a handbrake you will never want to let go of.

10 tracks: Emerald Coast, Sunset Canyon, Starlight City, Frost Peak, Magma Core, Coral Bay, Autumn Ridge, Sakura Hills, Mirage Dunes and Aurora Pass

8 cars: four from the start and four to unlock, including a supercar, a rally hatch, a kei box and a tank that turns on the spot and fires a cannon of smoke

Drift physics with three modes: arcade, assisted and realistic (tyre model, weight transfer, ABS, traction control)

Grand Prix, Time Attack, Drift Attack and a tutorial

12 achievements, win streaks and track records

Local multiplayer on Android for up to 8 players over Wi-Fi or a phone hotspot, with crossplay against the handheld version

Split screen on PC for up to 8 players (gamepads plus two keyboard halves)

Original soundtrack: FastTracker 2 style modules written for the game

Movable HUD and touch controls, graphics presets, a pixel filter, Polish and English

Retro handhelds (PortMaster / ROCKNIX, tested on Anbernic RG35XX H and SP): unzip slideways-handheld.zip into your ports folder

CONTROLS

Keyboard: arrows or WASD to drive, Space to drift (handbrake), Shift for turbo, C camera, R reset, Esc pause

Gamepad: fully supported, gas and brake on the triggers or on A and B (Options, Controls)

Touch: on-screen buttons that you can move and resize in Options
